Binance Auto-DCA Setup Checklist

Between "I want to start DCAing" and "I've actually set up a plan that buys on its own" sit a dozen small steps. Tick them off one by one and you won't get stuck on a step — or skip a key piece of discipline.

Stuck on a step? These trip up beginners most

Most people stall in two places: one is setting the amount before thinking through what "spare money" means, then panicking at the first big drop; the other is creating a plan without enabling 2FA, leaving long-term funds exposed. This checklist deliberately splits "discipline" into its own group, because the technical steps take ten minutes — the hard part is the years of sticking with it that follow.

How to use this checklist

  • The first time, tick from ① down to ④ in order — don't skip ahead; a step set up before the earlier ones are ready is wasted.
  • Whenever you want to "adjust the plan," come back and re-walk groups ② and ③ so you don't miss a check.
  • Group ④ is really a set of questions to yourself. Tick them honestly, not to make the bar look full.

For the full walkthrough, see How to set up auto-DCA on Binance; if you haven't decided whether to begin, read Your first DCA, starting here.

Once the list is ticked, the next step is to actually build a plan

A checklist helps you think it through, but it can't replace the act of setting it up. If you can tick most of the items above, you're ready — what's left is to log in and create the plan.
